omega seamaster bezel change,need advice

hi, right now i owned an omega seamaster 2230 non AC
like we know it's used a white gold bezel
i'm thinking of changing it with 2254 bezel
but still have some question for it
1.is it worthed? because some people say the white gold bezel is some kind of "identity" for 2230, beside the applied index dial of course
2.how much estimated price for brand new 2254 bezel, haven't ask local AD here
3.has anyone done this before??

i think those 3 question for now, hope can find answer here

1st. usually swatch service centre(omega) would not change bezel only. 2nd. its not worth it if they send to switzerland without you knowing the actual cost. Time consuming. It can be 200 plus to 300. Maybe you can find the bezel in khateena mosood at rochor centre(opp fu lu shou) located 2nd floor near lift. It can be cheaper.

Right bro.. They have to maintain the originality of the particular model.. Cannot suka suka change to the bezel o dial to our preferred choice..

Independant watchmaker wont guarantee the water resistance of watch after modified. After if which got prob, if u were to send bk to swatch group 4 servicing, I dun think they will take in. Think twice bro o call up swatch svc ctr before coming to a decision bro..

removing the bezel on a Seamaster required a special tool. Unfortunately, like what has been mentioned before, you can't do the swap by Swatch Group service centre so you have to find third party watchmakers with the proper tool.
