This or this Omega

When to THG today, looked at both the PO (42mm) and Speedmaster (40mm). 1K difference with PO being the more expensive one.

Any advise from Omegas lovers out there?

Can both fit under long sleeve shirts?

Which one will you pick and why?

If only these 2 to choose, get the PO! For Speedy, get the classic one.

Until today, I don't really enjoy chronograph because too many dials like that. Prefer the clean look. so PO would be my choice.

But for office/formal wear, Aqua Terra or Railmaster would be nice, Double Eagle Constellation can be considered.

Wear under long sleeves, even BnR and those thick watches can be worn, these two, no problem at all,,,,

My vote is for the PO. Quite like the clean look. I think the black bezel version is more classic than the orange bezel.

Re Sale

If you are thinking of selling it off after a while, its best to go for chronograph. Its more acceptable.

Although I like Chronographs, I think between the two, the PO is better. That particular SpeedMaster model uses a 7750 movement which is pretty comment. At least the PO comes with co-axial which is unique to Omega.

IMHO, go for speedmaster if you already have a divers watch. If not then go for the PO.. Enjoy.... Understand your plight as both are superb watches! Congrats!!

I own that particular Speedy - Speedmaster Date. I chose that model because I like the size, which is slightly smaller that the Speedmaster Prof and has got date display. The black dail also has got a concentric circle design compared to the classic.

Have owned PO, speedmaster tripple date previously but flipped due to my bad fickle-minded habit - both are great watches!

PO would be my bigger love. Goes well with both casual and office wear.
