Need urgent advise on speedmaster moon watch 3572 price

Hi all,

I have the chance now to buy a pre-owned omega speedmaster 3752 which I have been looking around for a while. This model comes with hesalite front and sapphire crystal see-thru back. It is phased out and replaced by 3753 with both sapphire crystal front and back.

Best price after negotiation is $3200, condition close to 9/10 (been polished before) but no box no papers.

I have read in few other forums that says it can be had for USD1800-USD2000 with box/papers (I assume in the US) so I wonder if the price quoted to me is too high?

I really appreciate if those of you who have experience can share with me your opinion.

Not too sure about whether the price is fair or not. Thou you mentioned in overseas forums, USD$2k is doable. Maybe ask the dude for $3k?

Only other advise I can give you, is to do the sale at the Swatch Group Office at Wheelock Place. That way, you can get the Swatch guys to check its authenticity before you proceed.
