  • order from seiyaJapan

hi collectors, recently im keen to order a sarb033 from seiyajapan website.
anyone order one form them before?
able to roughly tel me how it works?
and is the price stated on the website sing dollars?
lastly, is the 7% gst the only additional money i need to pay since shipping fee is not stated?
sorry as i had not order watch online before.

I've never ordered from that website in particular but I think the price is in US dollars. I'm not sure about the GST thingy but from past experiences having bought items from overseas online stores (watches, straps, etc), I just paid for the items and probably a bit of the shipping cost. You can email SeiyaJapan to enquire.

Typically, Japanese sellers do not "mark down" so you will end up having to pay full GST. The price quoted on Seiya website is USD but if I am not mistaken, does not include shipping.

An alternative is to have the watch shipped to HKG where there is no tax and pick it up there - assuming you have friends there or are going there. Best not to "under-declare" especially for insurance purposes.

One more option - go BKK and shop around. Their prices for GS is definitely much better than in SIN. If I am not mistaken, the dealer there is Trocadero Time.

Post your watch when you finally have it. Share the joy!

thanks bro pegasi, the big watch trend is leaving me. do post some of your smaller collections too.
illusion84, i was thinking real hard to get black or cream dial. as i feel on a brown leather strap, cream looks better than black..

I bought a used watch from SeiyaJapan in early 2010. Their prices were in USD, and he included shipping to Singapore in his quote. I paid with Paypal, and he shipped it via EMS promptly.

Generally a very smooth transaction, and I was happy with my purchase. To date, it remains daily wear watch.

from exp, higuchi prices most competitive. seiya is very friendly but costly slightly more. chino is very commercialised

just bought a simple quartz beater from higuchi after getting "three quotes".

watch should be delivered by early next week as they are only shipping it out tom
