Friend's going to Japan...Hunting for a MM300 or SBDC001

OK so probably on a trip in mid year to Japan (probably Tokyo)

Where or which shops are recommended? My friend is not a watch expert so authorized dealers are preferred.

What is the price range that can be expected?

Would it be cheaper to buy in their domestic market or just head down to Sg retail shops like Bigtime or Thongsia?

I have heard from various reliable sources about buying Seiko watches in Japan vs buying abroad like in Singapore. It seems that Seiko watches tend to be more costly in Japan than in Singapore. It will only be more worthy to buy it in Japan if it is a hard-to-come-buy/discontinued model.

Buy Grand Seiko or Seiko model only in Japan.(solar battery, radio wave control)-made in Japan.

Japan retail shop seiko or grand seiko will be abt the same as thong sia singapore, and they got no discount given, (like daimaru, sogo, or taka) however there are some shop that give discount, but this is that you will have to know where to go to. Just back with quite a high end seiko at a very good price therefor i know abit. Hope that help.
