Grand Seiko SBGE029
In early of this year, SEIKO launched new collection of Grand Seiko travelers ideal watch. For quick overview, SEIKO has initially launched the black and green dial of this type, SBGE001 and SBGE021. The SBGE021 was launched in 2011 and quickly sold out worldwide. SBGE021 is limited produced to 150 pieces. In this year, 2015 SEIKO launched the SBGE029 Asia limited edition to 100 pcs for its lucky owner.
Well, it is finally here the blue dial SBGE029. Blue dials are always a hit among the watch collectors and no one in the business has dialwork compared to the legendary GS. For almost a time, it is very hard to find Grand Seiko watch with Sunburst dial, but SEIKO initially launched its sunburst dialwork in 1964. It is no surprise then all of the new models honoring its predecessor model also feature a sunburst dial. Blue halos appear in the presence of direct light, gliding around the dial as you move the watch.

It is very hard to describe the color of the dial. The dial is incredibly dynamic, in low light the dial will appear as dark blue, in distant the dial will appear as black, however if the light is sufficient enough the dial will appear as light blue.
Like all Grand Seiko spring drive collection, a power reserve is present in this piece. The SBGE021 is the exact model like SBGE001, but with the beautiful blue embossed sunburst dial and gold plated GMT hand. This dial is truly unique and indescribably beautiful.
