just an update... i fly from singapore to korea tomorrow, and then head to japan a few days later after i offload my wife and our bags there.

i've been receiving updates regularly from friends and dealers in japan. the watches are selling very well. as such, i will be making TWO trips to japan.

i've just had the sudden realization that there are optimistic people selling SBDX012 and SBDC027 locally for a nice mark up from their purchase price...

at this point, i will have to spend some time confirming that those who have contacted me are genuinely buying this watch to wear.

for those whom i have already contacted and either asked for your favourite/lucky number or that "you're on my list" - i'll keep you in mind.

the rest... i will be in touch accordingly. if you are new/have a poor selling/buying history here or elsewhere... it will be difficult to help buy the watch for you because supplies are limited right now.

update: demand is extremely high.

barring a delay from feb 11's PH... last few LE will be leaving seiko HQ (?) in the next few days...

remaining quantity is very small.

i will be back in japan in a few weeks' time to pick up my order. no idea of the serial numbers right now - i asked to get as many as possible.

SBDC027 is still available, but also in limited quantities and to seiko dealers only... (if i understood it correctly)
