Rules are as follows:

1. They must be from different brands
2. I must end up with 3 watches, not more, not less
3. Each must have a different function
4. They must cover all possible situations, i.e. black tie event, scuba diving, work
5. The 50k must be utilized to the fullest extent possible, but no overbudget
6. Should be pre-owned watches wherever possible
7. Each model should not be >10 years in market
8. Each watch should on its own give any observer the feeling that's it's among the best in class
9. Only in house movements
10. One of the trio must be able to be worn overseas without attracting too much attention.

Any thoughts?

My initial trio are as follows:

1. Rolex Deep Sea Sea Dweller
- 11k used
- Function: Helium Escape Valve and extreme Water resistance
- Used for weekends daytime casual wear, diving, boating.

2. AP Bumble Bee
- 27k used
- Function: Chronograph. Sports/Dress watch
- Used for normal office wear, clubbing

3. IWC 5001 7 day Portuguese. White dial.
- 10-11k used.
- Function: 7 day power reserve. Dress Watch
- Used for business lunches/dinners, meetings with bosses and for wearing overseas.

Total: About 49k.
