Omega vs Tag Heuer vs Ball

Suggest to go for a new one. Start with a nice quartz TAG, take time to appreciate watch designs and functions and then the engineering beauty of mechanical watches and slowly work your way up. It is not about money but the experience ; )

Bro. No offense taken. I'm more of an omega fan than the other two. So u say tag has advanced movement etc. tell me which tag or ball has more prestige n recognition than a speedy pro at 3k budget? No offense ok. Just my 2 cents

Sori dude, no offense here, what you mean by beat any tag or ball? All same manufacturer for movement for most of their watches so where the big difference?!!! Tag have gone to microsecond level for chronograph, what is omega doing? Toying with liquid metal... You really think speedmaster can beat any tag or ballwatch? Dun talk big unless you can back up!

Apology if i offended you mr dan. with my strong words. Being an esteen owner of ball and tag, i need to say it. Ball spacemaster also sit rocket one hor and go to international space. tag one of the pioneer for chronograph, tag Monaco and carrera also got long heritage, there an asernal of tag and ball watches that can match speedmaster series of legacy. Sentence like speedmaster can beat any tag or ball is jus not right.

If sentence like- omega central tourby can beat any tag or ball. That maybe more possible, in term of mechanical ingenuity and prestige( though I personally think the tag pendulum and Mikrograph are right up there in term of mechanical ingenuity ). Cheers.

Hi all.. I'm considering a second watch with a budget of <$3k so now it boils down to 3 nice brands - Omega, Tag Heuer and Ball. Any advice or opinion which would make a nice diver watch?

Diver watch- tag older aqua racer, seamaster a bit hard at $3k unless really old quartz version. Ball - skin diver or EM II diver. Personally, I like the seamaster and EMII diver look as their side knot looks cool.

To compensate, my recommendation is either a preowned 41mm Seamaster or, stretch the $ a little bit, a preowned Planet Ocean Seamaster (old version for your budget).

Ok.. how about this. A Tag Aquagraph chrono diver (black dial) or a Ball Spacemaster Glow (black dial) or a Omega seamaster 300m (blue dial). These are all beautiful watches and unfortunately I can only choose one

I would choose seamaster as it not so thick compare to the other two so suitable to wear under long sleeve shirt. If aquaracer 500M is an option, it would be first choice. The spacemaster to me look abit weird but the lume is awesome at night.

The Seamaster in that case, its very versatile watch compared to the other 2.
