sorry to hijack but I am in a similar situation.
I am starting on a new job soon and would like to buy a watch to celebrate this milestone.
In my new job, I will travel about twice a month around Asia and once in a while other continents.

I will be meeting clients. Budget around $5k.
Thinking of a good pre-owned. Preferably with dual time, GMT or worldtime since I deal a lot with Germany day to day.

What would you recommend? Looked at GP wwtc. Like VC dual time (but out of budget). GO is nice too esp since I am joining a German company but don't seem to find a dual time pre-own around that budget. I like the look of Longines Retrograde and Maurice Lacroix worldtimer too. Rolex GMT don't seem to fit me.

I think the longines retrograde wld b nice since u shd b wearin formal. Mayb I m biased cos I wear one..i like the ease of setting the date, day, gmt n time on tt watch n it doesnt burn a big hole in ur pocket.

Honestly, if insist to buy a watch..at this price you can get an Omega Planet Ocean, which is a big and nice diving watch...But if i were you, I saved alil more and get a brand new Rolex Submariner (date or without date)....its a watch u will nv regret owning
