am new to IWC but has taken a liking to the watch recently. may i ask how much is the 3777 brand new from local AD and what's the usual discount like?

i understand that the 3777 is not usual the in house movement?
    I don't need another watch.

They both use the 79320 calibre movement.

Both using the same valjoux 7750 movement. for the price they are charging and the relatively lower discount these days, I find it a tad difficult to swallow. I'm just glad I got my 3717 early enough to obtain a decent discount.
I don't have enuf watches but I will stop buying now!

Are there any for sale in the forum's garage sections?

I believe there is one for sale in leather.

Personally I find you need quite a thick wrist to pull off the 3777 due to the positioning of the lugs. But the 3777 does have more presence.

the 3717 gets my vote. was lucky to get a pre-loved one last month and am really glad how nicely the 42mm sits on my wrist. plus the big date does give the watch more presence - can't take my eyes off the watch at times.
