Worth paying about 5K for a 2nd hand LNIB BR01-97 Orange? Really like that watch but feels that brand is very overpriced.

Well, I feel all these ETA sourced brands are mostly over priced. But, ultimately it is up to the buyer to decide what is value to them. Having said that, I paid over 6k for a Unitas (ETA) sourced PAM..... Like I said, if you like the brand and the design, go for it. You are the one that will be wearing the watch and you will be the only one that take the pleasure of owning it.

Decided to go for it. No regrets other than now I got 2 orange on black face watch. Who wants to buy my U-Boat ;p

Enjoy the watch! I'm a BR fan. Like you, I have purchased a second hand BR. Mine is the 03-92 carbon. Even though mine has some scratches on the PVD, I really like the watch. Enjoy!

i was mulling on the BR03 green ... very stealth and really slick. feels perfect on my wrist for a casual friday or lazy weekend. but at more than 4k for local AD set, i'm having 2nd thoughts lol

Can change the front plate at service centre. Had a bad accident on the watch after getting drunk. very bad scratches on bezel. Got it changed and now it looks brand new again. Not cheap
