MIDO is often regarded as Value For Money mid-class brand, but fetch very little resale value. Like RADO, TITONI, Raymond Weil and perhaps some of LONGINES models.
Back in the mid 80s till mid 90s, if you can't afford a Rolex, TITONI, RADO, MIDO are very well regarded that you won't "loose face" if you get anyone of those as substitute. However, as more labels comes in, T.R.M. popularity gets faded as their designs are often very conservative.
If you want a goo value for money timepiece for permanent keep, get a MIDO, where some 60% of their release seems to be COSC certified, yet affordable. But if you're looking for flipping gains and returns, forget about MIDO.

steinhart pieces are really well worth their price. People who are not really into watches might not know the brand, but most people who are into watches have heard of and will recommend the watch to people who are looking for watches within that price range.
