maybe you can consider aquaracer in pink dial? it's quartz and also have a few diamonds on the bezel. the bracelet is nicer compared to link series from my point of view..

I think she would prefer the Double S metal strap of Link; she kinda already said it. But I m not keen on paying so much for their puny diamonds, hence hope to get it mod keke ie get a non-original diamond bezel if possible. Have u heard anyone doing it for Tag?

BTW I got the new Tag catalogue. I gotta say that the new Calibre S looks v cool; esp the Day Date keke. V rolex!

For the new movement, the Carrera is actually quite affordable compared to the rest, before less only 5K with leather strap

Autavia and 2004 Limited Edition Jack Heuer Carrera

Hi Everyone,

Currently contemplating the following two watches.

Both watches are discontinued. The autavia are still available with some AD (retail price is $4,500) but very limited stocks (mostly black face with orange hands) whilst I have not come across any carrera in Singapore and may have to try overseas such as Hong Kong or Taiwan.

Anyone has experience with either of this watch? Any advise will be appreciated.

Yup. However, that's a black dial with orange hand. Personally thought that the white dial with blue hand is better.

Yup, that's the one. Gave a call to jwwatch just now. They are selling it at S$3,156 (including GST). Think it is expensive as the watch is Jan 2007

so what should be the market price for this tag? i thou it is quite rare to see this model......in fact, this is the first time i come across it. 43.5mm dia somemore, quite huge for a tag....even the latest grand carrera from tag, the biggest is only 43mm.

this watch was launched 2 yrs ago....

i won't pay more than $2800 for this...and i mean brand new. If it's pre-owned -$2400..

Correct. The watch was indeed launched quite some time ago (2 or 3 years).

Tag Heuer decided to discontinued the autavia together with the monza although no reason was given (probably because sales not doing well )

The official retail price for the autavia is $4,500. With the standard 20% discount, it will be around $3,600. This price is probably a bit expensive for a Tag.

Funnily enough, I was at DFS at Orchard looking at watches. A group of teens, around 19, 20 years old was looking at omega watches. A guy from the group suggested to the girls why not look at Tag instead. Lo and behold, the young gal commented, "Hello, Tag Heuer is for kids. We are looking at watches for investment"
