IWC Big Pilots Watch

i have resisted for a long time but have finally decided to buy a big pilots watch. I will probably buy new unless i find any good 2nd hand buys, couldnt see any on the forum. Any advice from owners out there is it a must have watch or one to be missed , thanks

I use to own a BP. I tink its ref 5002. Still regret selling it. Its a very nice watch with a comanding presence. Regards,P.

Big Pilot (Discontinued 5002) is a very classic watch....IMO, must have for all IWC collector.

it's a classic, you wont go wrong with the big pilot

I too own a BP 5002. Mine is with the rare fish crown. In the last 1 year I may have rotated around 10 watches including a good number of IWCs (portugese, top gun ceramic etc.) but I have retained my 5002, there is something magical about the watch....it is absolutely amazing ..true you will never get tired of it

now have my BP watch and very happy. bought in Duty Free in Taiwan Airport. 1000SGD less than best price i could find in shops here. I love the fact it stays going for 7 days. A great watch

Can also just get a BP near mint second hand.... they loose $8-11K in a year.... I love them don't get me wrong but IWC watches all love aside are terrible investments.
