Yo Sam, so very glad you sarted this thread. me also into citizen watches of late. just bought this a few weeks ago and very happy with it. most importantly, it's brushed steel so scratches won't show up so easily. got it at 500, absolutely worth every penny.

I am very keen on the Minute Repeater (told bro Pingpong since 2008 I think.. hahah) but havent gone down to look for it.. Hoping to do so in 2 wks time cos my wife works near Mustafa.. and she returns to work after her maternity leave ends abt 2wks time.. so got chance to go there to check out the models and prices...

If I recall correctly, the list is about 800+... It was at the same conversation with the CS when I asked them where can I find the Minute Repeater. Thats when they told me about the list price and most likely where to find it and buy it cheap...

Sama sama. I've been eyeing the Minute Repeater since early 2008 too ... just haven't done it yet, coz so many other watches to get, especially since was saving up for the Rollies.

Don't mind, if you drop by there, let us know how much? I'm keen on the models with leather strap & deployment buckle.

hmm retails for 1010... i managed to get one around 600 bucks...definitely not as solid as a swiss watch but haha functionality wise its awesome =)
