Verification of Vintage Girard-Perregaux

hello guys,
other than sending the watch the the AD or agent, where can we verify vintage Girard-Perregaux watch case and movement etc?

What are the basic visage clues to a genuine GP watch case? can anyone help here? many thanks.

GP was a market leader 50-60yrs ago there are so many of these beautiful watches around til today.
For such vintage watch movements, i think even the agent cannot really verify.
Can only rely on the intricacy of the signed cases and movements, i feel......

Can someone in the know comment and advise?
