Hamilton maybe a new rising star...we never know. Ball/Oris watches are great but not very cheap,Hamilton is pretty new to me. Didnt know of it b4 i bought it.

For low $1k+, can get a Chronometer certified watch.

think hamilton watches are great for value. but if looking at resale then the price will be very low except for ltd edn models. i personally like their pilot models as well as the new khaki twilight a lot.

IMO, B-A-L-L should give u a good value-4-money. Why?

1) Quality watch. Look at some of the features (varies depending on model):

a) Anti-magnetic
b) Capable of sustaining high impact force
c) Excellent night illumination by tritium vials
d) Quality case and bracelet (examine the construction)
e) Accurate movement even for non COSC models (which other manufacturer gives u assurance of < 10 secs variation / day for non-COSC??? They will regulate yr watch if it turns out otherwise.)

2) Excellent after sales service. Check out the detailed report by Ball users at WUS forum regarding our Singapore Ball Service Centre. You wont even get such service from other more expensive and established brands!

3) Relatively affordable compared to Tag, Omega, etc. You can get one for < S$1000.

4) Good product range to cater for different needs.

5) Increased marketing activity, looks like Ball is serious about improving product awareness. Noticed prices have gone up?
