Tag Heuer and Trusted.com Connection

I am new member to this forum, and would like to seek advice from all you.
I was told by my friend that tag heuer watch (manufactured earlier than 2011) can be checked its authentic by trusted.com

Is this true?

Yes, you can find the authenticy and watch history of a Tag Heuer watch via www.trusted.com. They currently have 3 years worth of data in the system. Watch history will display for a watch if owner register their ownership of their www.trusted.com eTitle at time of purchase. The system is available at Tag Heuer owned boutiques and expanding to all authorized retailers in USA starting January 2012. To check watch history simply enter the watch serial number on www.trusted.com. You then select the model number of the watch (since Tag Heuer serial numbers are repeated by model number) and you will be displayed the item history number.
