I doubt people would take out the 2824 movement and swap it with cheaper movement. The 2824 itself has little/no value. If your U1 comes with box and paper and you dont see any suspicious sign, I would not be worry

Agree with Hary but if TS really wants to have it verified, THG at Tong Center can do it.. they are above Rolex Service center...

I was just told by a colleague that Sinn replicas were spotted in Chinatown.

have not seen a replica U1 anywhere, in shenzhen, on the net ...

u series replica should be easy to spot.can look out for
- weight, very heavy compared to normal steel
- colour of the case, "titanium-colour" due to the tegiment process


made sure u have the complete set: box, g-card, tool

Seriously???! wow...did he tell you where in Chinatown he saw it? I'm going CNY shopping in Chinatown tis weekend, will be looking out for it...if I see one, I'll buy it and maybe strip it down and examine it and share with everyone a report on it...if I do find one lah...


but to brother wormsss...not to worry lah...if you've bought the watch from here, it should be safe...enjoy your watch and don't worry about it being fake all the time...you've spent good money on it, so just enjoy it!

yes, there are fakes aka replicas. do a search in google, shouldn't be hard to locate. if VC's Quai de l'Ile collection could even be duplicated, i dun see what the fakers cannot do.
