Tag Automatic date

Hi! How do I make sure that the watch's date changed when the hr/min hand turned 12? I noticed that mine will only change at the 3o'clock mark. I think by changing the date at 12o'clock n then start adjusting the time seems to solve this issue, but I the manual says adjusting of date at 10-2 is not recommended. Any advise? Thx

what watch do u have bro...??? i always adjust my watch by first turning the crown hacked and then turning the hands till they flicked the date then setting to the desired time....
