Hi,

Wld like to seek the advice of bros here.

I am interested to get a AP Roo but very undecided on which one.
Currently shortlisted(in order of preference): Navy, Safari, Panda then rubberclad.
What are the pro and cons for each watch?
I personally find the Navy and Safari too casual. Is it advisable to get a after market black strap? (is it possible to get a hornback?)

Navy is hard to match.

Safari is the easiest and matches well with a LOT of straps although I dislike the original brown alligator, but the dial is a very nice cream color and matches black alligator or black rubber strap perfectly.

I used to like the Panda but it looks boring after a while.

Dislike the Rubberclad's rubber bezel.

I would go for Volcano though, since honestly ROO isn't that formal anyway, the design is a very loud in your face kind of statement.

If you want something more "subtle", get a Royal Oak.

So you reckon a Navy with Black Strap will look weird?
I didnt know rubber clad's bezel is rubber too.

It's so difficult to make a choice...

The Navy is great. A white strap would look great on the Navy. A black strap will do, but a brown one of the Navy may be off.

Tried a Safari today.
Brown Strap is nice for smart casual, brown shoes days.
Can imagine it can go with black strap for formal look.
Though it may be versatile but I find the dial a little too plain for a ROO. (afraid that i may get bored after a while)

Tried a rubberclad and volcano too. think they are out as an option for me. volcano is really really loud and rubberclad looks and feel just not right for me.

Guess now its Safari or Navy.

SAFARI is very versatile. brown leather for smart casual look and black for a more formal appeal... it actually matches the black numerics but problem is finding aftermarket straps. While Panda is defintiely more sporty look.
