OH NO, most unlucky to have made such a purchase. Should ask for a full refund or at least BALL should offer you a totally new watch nothing less.

          Dear Fans,

It is real unfortunate for such things to happen. It seldom happen to our watches but if such things happen it is like one in 300 to 400 pieces. And for Ball if such things happen, we will always give our customer a very satisfying answer.

We seek you understanding from this point. And i believe if you purchase other brands, you may encounter such situation too.

Even good LUXURY CARS ALSO have problem sometimes.

We are not a lousy brand to consider so please do not give up on us.

          Thanks
          Regards
          Ball Watch Company

I am no QC guy but I hope U have quoted incorrectly.
One in 400 watches for a hour hand to drop off is equilvatent to 2500 DPPM. This is scary!
I am eyeing a Spacemaster Glow and I hope it doesn't happen when I buy one.

              Dear Kepiting,

You misunderstood me.... I am trying to say that apply to other problem too.

And for the hands problem, this is the first time it happen once this year and last yr we didn't have this problem. Pls don't be influence by the comments, sometimes peoples tense to remember the bad things more than the good.

And there are still positive comments from some of them so why don't to listen to their comments?

Today, I realized that friendly staff is not good enough. Just pickup my watch from them after their fine tune on the watch accuracy.

I realized that there are couple of new hairline scratches on the watch when back in my office. Seem like the same issue when servicing in RSC.

Guess I have to get a scratch removal pen to fix the problem myself.

Understand that Ball hydrocarbon Ceramic XV is COSC certified. That implied that each (100%) watch has been subjected to some kind of strigent movement test. I wonder how can TS encounter the problem as per his highlight.

Sad to hear that. I wonder is it too much effort that after service the tech can just do a scan and clean up whatever hairline scratches before returning the watch to the owner. That I think will be a good value add.

COSC is done before movement is cased up... Anything can happen after that. Fault can occurred from during manufacturing to delivery to AD to end buyer... But i think the AD should also be involve in Inspecting the watch when they receive it from watch company. This would significantly reduce fault watch from reaching the buyer. Got extra stuff after servicing, just give them a ring and they might give your BALL a polishing.. Hehehe.

Don't think they will practice that. Whose know some customer like scratches due to some sentiment and by doing that, they will also remove the initial scratches cause by the customer.

I just check my watch accuracy after 3 hrs (set at ideal timing) since collection of the watch. Very disappointing as the time is faster by 2 sec. Wonder is that the kind of accurary of an ETA2836 modified movement.

Dude, you cannot measure the accuracy like that lah. At least must wear for few days then average it to get better accuracy.

Definitely will monitor further. It is just a head start. If it is getting worst, most likely I will park it in my store forever.

I understand for a standard 2824 accuracy is up to 12 sec/day while 2892 is up to 5ec. Any idea what should be the typical accuracy for a 2836 movement?

fyi, my basic 7750 movement from other brand accuracy is about 2sec or less for the past few month till date.

The accuracy measurement you also need to consider the amount of power reserve left in the watch, as the power reserve drop the watch slow down. The way you rest the watch, face up or on its side.

My watch accuracy has always been faster. How I hope that it can become slower. There is not a single day that it become slower.
