Hi, discovered IWC Portuguese 7days auto seem very light in weight, n it weigh less than half of my Panerai, is that so?

Depends on which PAM you are comparing it against. I don't think it is so much lighter than a base PAM with see-thru case back, for example.

I would expect the port to be lighter. Visually, most of the pams look heavier.

It's just the characteristic of the watch, heavier doesn't mean better. I would wear a Portuguese 7days over a 44mm Pam, although I do like the 40mm models.

PAM would have so much more body ( more metal ) to them.... perhaps the Radiomir maybe closer to the weight and the said IWC is a lighter watch for sure.

I tried this watch was surprised by its light-weight as well!
