It really depends on how much discount you can get. Average walk-in is 12%?

Not too sure if low 4 is a realistic price. It depends on the age and condition of the watch, IMHO.

When it was first launched its rep was sgd7000 before discount. Price increased to sgd7600 about a year later. Furthermore, it's no longer in production so I reckon you might have to fork out a bit more. Just my guesstimate. Think it was launched about 3 or 4 years ago? I can't really remember.

4 years ago, I decided that I really wanted to buy the 3717, as it is the cheapest IWC I find appealing.

Left my name at a few ADs as it was sold out everywhere.

            Nobody called.

Ended up buying a BP instead. Very happy with my decision. Even though it's quite common nowadays, it is still not as ubiquitous as the 3717.

Slightly off topic, but i just got my hands on a 3717 with bracelet! Any idea how much servicing would cost and should I just bring it into the IWC boutique?

i think you need to bring it to richemont not the iwc boutique. should eb a coupla hundred bucks for basic servicing. $400+? just guessing.

The 3717 is a very nicely balanced watch....in the aspect of brand, size, price and looks.
It's absolutely very handsome on the wrist.
Love the 3717 as a daily beater!!!

I Love entry level models (nothing above 5K... For now...). When I first set my eyes on IWC it was the Aquatimer Edition Galapagoes that caught my eye. After checking the price and doing some research I found that 3717 has a more lasting look. In fact, it get better everytime I look at it.

                          Didn't know it got discontinued.

It's very individual. Personally I feel it's way overpriced for a valjoux powered piece at sgd8500 rrp. Unless one can ge a very high discount then it's a different story. Otherwise, at that price, there are many other better options and some even with in-house movements as well.
