Repainting Illumination

Hi Guys, can we repaint the illumation on the watch dial and hands? Anywhere in SG does it?

LVMH quoted me $80 for the replacement of my hands on my SEL series as they were slightly tarnish. The back face will cost a few hundred.
Dun think it can be repainted as what they claim.
