    hi all,

is there such a watch in the market now? brand new with the following criteria. budget 5 - 6k

    1) Swiss or German Made
    2) Mechanical & Automatic (no need to be chronograph)
    3) At least 42mm case size
    4) Leather/Rubber Strap (no SS pls)
    5) At least 50m water resistance (no need to be like 200m or 300m or more)

Technically, IWC still uses ETA base movements with some of their 'mods'. Maybe u can try germans like Nomos or Glashutte Original....the latter being a little over your budget but def worth the money imho.

Hi, you can buy directly from Stowa. It's not available locally. I paid around Euro 750 for that piece, limited to 80 pieces (sold out). There are many other Stowa models with similar look. Go and check their website

                  But
The 5 and 7 hour character looks kena chopped off by the sub dial
If can have complete then is indeed a perfect piece...

Off-hand i really can't think of anything within the S$5k-S$6k range that fufill your in-house movement and brand new condition except perhaps one of the older Union Glashuette watches (i.e., before they switch to ETA movements recently) but these are certainly not easy to find ... Am also not sure if they had any 42mm watches in their range ...
