Have been MIA this week from SGROC as my daughter arrived on Sunday. Been busy. However, I am extremely upset as disaster strikes by U1 today.
Went to my in laws for dinner and took my watch out as usual and placed it on top of a 1.4m high shoe cabinet. As you have guess it, my clumsy and reckless (Qi Chor Lor Kuoy) MIL wanted to pack things for me to bring back to her daughter in confinement, failed to see my watch was ON a bag, pulled the bag and my U1 took a nose dive onto the ceremic floor. There were two dents on the case as a result. Damn Tu lan with her and cannot scold her (dun wana disrespect). Just gave black face and didn't talk to her after that. Can see that she felt damn bad but I couldn't care as my pain was greater.
Any brothers here can advice if any repairs are possible at Sinn? Changing the CASE costly?

aiyah... in this kind of situation, u hve no choice ...go tell your wife that it's a sign you have to get a new watch liao, can commenerate your new child plus the dent is heaven's way of telling u to do so...

Thanks all brothers for your encouragements and making me look at the bright side of things.

Just like to update regarding this mishap.

Sent my 'damaged' U1 to my AD for repair thru their channel. Miraculously, they managed to repair it looking like new... unbelievable. And the damage was less than $120.

As luck would have it, during a 1 day meeting with my supplier, he facied my watch and asked me about it. I told him about the background and he told me that its fine by him and was willing to buy it off me.. kekekek....

So once that is done, I will probably buy a brand new piece with just that $120 premium.

But my daughter boh gime luck leh..
