The lume shots look awesome. I remember they used to use elabore grade 2824 for ocean 2. Now back to 'basic' already huh?!

I do hope that was a typo error made during the rush to push the new product page out to the public. Standard 2824 for that kind of price? Even Ocean 44 with sapphire glass bezel insert doesn't cost that much...

My personal view on the SEIKOs... the only thing i see retro only falls on the bar indexes, hands, as well as the Squarish subdials.
The dials, hands, indexes and subdials on the STEINHARTs are much better...

Cosmetic looks wise, both the German and Japanese produce are equally on par...
