Also, any thoughts about the kevlar strap? Not sure how it would hold up to our hot and humid weather?

If I get, I intend to get a black NATO strap and a black velcro strap to interchange.

Yeah I heard abt the news and new TGs. But so far the TG Miramar does not appeal to me. And I need something smaller than 46mm. Heard that this year's TGs are gonna increase in size!

Bro, how much was the replacement?

How much did it cost to replace the cracked ceramic case?

I am thinking of double chrono but for my 16cm (6.3") wrist, not sure if 46mm is too big. I am currently wearing a Speedmaster BA GMT at 44.25mm and I think I can hold the size. So also considering the 44mm single chrono.

            Decisions, decisions.

In your opinion, what would be a "hard knock" that would crack the ceramic case? Don't count drop, but say, I knock my watch onto a hard surface while walking??
Hey bro, really depends on what you classify as a hard knock but normally the trick would not be to wear any watch too 'tight' on the wrist so that it will not take a 'full' impact when an accident do occur.

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and both my BP and top gun double chrono fits well.

It also depends on your body structure as well IMO. If I am correct the case of the double chrono seems to be the same as the BP which is thicker than the top gun single chrono. Both the single and double chrono are nice watches but for me I chose the double as it sits taller and has a better presence on my wrist.

            My two cents......

...between them both. The guy tells me it would cost $2300 to replace a cracked ceramic case.

The Single Chrono, somehow, also looks similar in size to my 44.25mm. I think the main difference is the thickness of the watch.

Guess deciding between both is how much wrist presence you want.

Nuts, my post got cut off while typing on the iPhone.

What I was meaning to say is that I went to the IWC Boutique today to check out the TG Double. Surprisingly, side by side comparisons show to me that the 46mm Dopplechrono looks the same size as my 44.25mm Speedmaster BA.

Still not sure which to go for, but I am shying toward the Dopplecheono.

Yeah guys, it's a great watch. And I am really pining for it.

But then again, the net is buzzing about how IWC will be unveiling their full range of 'high-flier' watches this year at SINN 2012. That's starting on Jan 16. So maybe something else might catch my fancy as I am not keen on using a watch with a non bracelet, especially in our hot and humid weather.

How often do you clean your watch's nylon strap??
