bro, went to Wisma outlet a number of times.. I don't think its a partner/boss though... The lady I spoke to is definitely not his wife as I've met her a couple of times at MW. But I know he does pop by occassionally.

from i learnt from WUS forums, some russian watches actually use chinese seagull movement, not sure if there's any truth in it but can read more from WUS if anyone's interested. Not trying to offend any russian watch lovers though.
I dun really like the styling of their watch cases, still prefer the german/swiss/british/american style

Ah, Sugi. He's a nice guy and I meet him at "russian watch" socials a friend of mine organizes occasionally.
I've known russian watches long before I've known rolex. The primary base movement used in russian watches is the Poljot-3133, which has stopped production but remains available for now. This was based on an old Valjoux design the Russians bought from the Swiss in th 1950s .
If you want to buy more "collectible" poljot pieces , buy those with a 3133 and not the newer China made movements.

Thanks, actually 3133 is not so rare. Many conventional Chronos use P3133. It's a workshorse movement, a Valjoux 7734 based movement. I own this watch for many years and it's running strong and very accurate.Movement collection:

I just got my macro lens, still learning how to use it. As first 'victim', here is the close-up picture of P3133. Not pretty from closer look, but it's one of my favourite movement in terms of reliability
