  • Winding automatic watch

I have just purchased a Portuguese chrono and was told that I could wind the watch for longer power reserve. Do I wind it clockwise or counter clockwise? I've tried turning clockwise and counter clockwise but both felt different when turning the crown. Will turning it in the wrong direction damage the watch? Thanks.

If you are new to automatic watches, please read the watch manual. I suggest not using the crown for winding the watch.
