  • IWC in HK - AD Discount??

Hi all, I'm flying to HK tmr and I'd like to ask what is the level of discount I can expect for IWC watches at AD (e.g. Oriental / Emperor)? Assuming the standard walk-in discount level is 15%...what is the max level of discount I can push for?

    Thanks all!

Just came back from HK. You can get IWC watches at Oriental, Elegant, Emperor, Prince, King-Fok, and DFS. Do note that these are ADs though. Apparently Richemont has been controlling the discount v tightly in HK and the best discount these ADs can offer is 10%. However, I have heard of grey dealers being able to offer up to 22% off the listed prices. Didn't get any IWCs in HK in the end coz I wasn't comfortable with buying from the grey market in HK.

The current official list prices at the ADs are (same across ADs):
              3714 Portuguese Chrono - HKD 58,800
              3717 Pilot Chrono - HKD 40,000

              Hope this info helps!

Just to add...the official IWC boutique (I went to the one at TST located at 1881 Heritage) offers zero discount. Didn't really ask if there's extended warranty or free straps. The boutique is really nice and definitely worth a visit. The boutique size is twice or even thrice the size of the IWC boutique at ION.

Haha so u went to the flagship...u have to have someone who knows their watches well if u want to buy from the grey market.....I'm confident because my cousin has bought countless iwc from some particular dealers and are familiar with them so I'm fine with it...

Besides the warranty what else is there to look out for?
