Went to Queensway Shopping Center today, saw one shop selling a Luminox AutoChrono, quite obvius with Valjoux 7750 movement, with leather strap... asked for the price, quoted $3k. Huh???
Luminox brand atas sia... is it priced controlled hard in this island?
I can get 2pc of NAV. CHRONO 2 44mm with Bracelet, if i order from germany straight.

Un-deniably, when a new brand is set up to draw attention, the major drive behind its intention is the grow, and acheive a placement in the collectors/interest groups heart.

However, when it product is starting to fail... in terms of build quality(if u r a member of other forums, u may see the increasing complains against Luminox) they should probably spend more time on improving their image rather than further boost their image base on the niche designs as well as their brand.

Of course lah... there are other brands using same movement in their product that also selling for higher price... such as Longines, Raymond Weil and Tag Heuer... just to name a few...
