By the way do you really need a dressy classic watch? If the answer is yes, then you should invest in ONE good piece and not any of the above (no offence to the owners of the above watches/brands).Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

Tx guys . No, those are not 'die-die' must have or will choose one among them. They are just those I've seen and touched over past weeks and as I am trying (very hard) to save for my next ROLEX watch, I do not intend to spend too much on another watch. But of course, I also don't want to 'anyhow buy'. Like most of you experts & veterans have advised, it may become another 'phase', i.e. another watch that I will buy, wear & 'flip'. I always incur loses in doing that.
Went window-shop along orchard today and I think I have 'fallen' for another

i've replated a few old watches before and from experience i know 10 microns will last through daily wear in the tropics.
why don't you get a datejust?“Watches, no matter how much they cost, are better at telling time than making a person happy.†- Thomas J. Stanley

Hey Ocean,
Would you be willing to consider indy German watch makers? I particularly find watches made by Limes attractive. Look under their Chyros and Pharo collections.
