Personally, I've regreted selling off my 100mm macro last year... well at that time I wasnt into watches yet, else it would be a great lens for capturing close ups!!!

JLC: -25% disc
Omega: -15% disc

Not bad, particularly for rare models/brands with strict disc control in town. Certain brands, you could get better disc in town. So please check your prices in town before buying from airport.

only in T3 and only at Gassan. Other shops do not offer this kind of discount. If you are often in T1, worth taking the skytrain from T1 to T3

i believe that Gassan is related to the Gassan Diamonds group, based in Amsterdam. they have several airport presenses. they had a shop in T2 years ago in the late 90s. call them before you go down, 62417124. ask them what range they have. they get some good IWCs and JLCs. see if they allow you to negotiate price over the phone. once settle price, give them your credit card number to reserve, then pick up. they have a warehouse/office in Ubi, see if they have inventory list. also check if they can bring in what you want.

mate, dun let 2% kill a deal. like the watch, full retail also pay. reality is, u already dun pay 7% GST, plus the 20% discount...not bad liao. tell them, u take 20% discount, but u want to pay with credit card....at least u get either cash back or points.

firstly, dun sir me leh...i m only 37 yrs young....

cannot. no way they can sell outside airport without GST.
