          Hublot:

When i started watch hobby. I was intrigued by Hublot's construction and materials. However I find it overpriced with 7750 inside. Resale also low. Not that I can afford it. One piece that still interest me is the bullet bang.
          Scratch proof. Better than DLC.

          JLC Aston Martin Amvox 1

Suppose not a dress but sports watch?
I feel it looks too plain for a JLC sports with the price.

          Blancpain 50

          History, presence, movement.
The answer to these 3 for me.

          my 2 cents.

Hublot : i say stay away. if you buy brand new, the depreciation is quick. if you buy second hand, depending on price. but to me, hublot is heading same direction as AP. one basic core, then use different material and design and then come out with limited numbers to increase its selling price.

blancpain 50 fanthoms: one of the iconic model. however, if you take away this model. i cant recall or list any other iconic piece.

JLC: only watch brand that can boost the most number of patented movement in their vault. resale also terok. JLC is the other brand that makes alarm watch that is audible enough to wake you up.

my choice - JLC without a doubt.

I will take JLC but not necessary the Amvox. They have plenty to choose from. Then blancpain but not on a hublot but that's just me.

If you don't know Mr wolfeyes1974 enough, he is a "one-brand-one-watch" man . So if he already has one ROLEX watch, it is unlikely he'll one another. Well I stand corrected because people change ..

As for my choice among the three, it will be blancpain 50 fathoms

                          Just buy what you like

By the way, for those who say that Hublot is a one model watch (i.e. the Big Bang), obviously you need to read up more.

Below is one of their new release. I am sure there will be many more of such innovations.

So far I have enjoyed Hublot. JLC and Blancpain does not appeal to me.

i agree with you. buy what you like.

when i say hublot heading AP way of one basic core, i did not say they dont have other models. so does AP. they have complication watches as well. maybe i did not put it through clear enough, their bread and butter is through selling one basic core and change the case material etc. ROO is also the brand bread and butter of AP.

just for record, i have a hublot regulateur.
