This is one hell of a contemporary watch I ever seem. Very unique compass like looking watch. The way that it placed the adjusting time mechanism at 6 or 12 position(which I assume), remind me of bovet watches.

the hidden crown is located at 6 o'clock and the helium release valve at 12 o'clock.

the crown is opened by a special key until it pop out.

I accidentally came across this watch site which has a similar model to yours (Oceana). With a case height of 21mm, and 5000m depth rating, it's also quite a chunky but likable watch. I've never heard of this brand before though.

Yes Mr. Pita is a unique watch maker (self taught!) from Spain. The Oceana model is rated to 5000m!!!!!!!!!!!! Similar monobloc case design but much more massive. Am enquiring about this watch.

The PITA Oceana is a crazy watch, watch the video about it.

I love how you can set time without a crown and it can be adjusted underwear, not that I dive but it's a really unique watch design.

Sorry to hijack your thread a little but I thought it would be nice to share my vintage diving watch to make a comparison on what time can do in this industry.

One of the very first watches to be waterproofed. See how primitive it is!

Not to OT too much, the Helson Gauge is really a faithful vintage depth gauge design.

                      Here's 1 that I used to own.

Just out of interest, do you know why they put the numbers in those positions?
