Sinn U1 and U1 tempus

Pardon my greenhorn,

I want to know whats the difference between a Sinn U1 and Sinn U1 tempus.

i did google them up .. but most pics are the same.
i only know the difference between U1 and U1 SDR is the black and steel bezel.

Can some one enlighten me?

The Tempus is a local ltd edt which was done for The Hour Glass. It has a completely black case but with White and Orange markers. The standard U1 looks the colour of high grade titanium because of the tegiment process done on the Submarine steel.

U1 is on the left.

Tempus is on the right.

That's Sinn U1 Tempus which is in limited edition of 250 pieces and is totally black including the bezel, casing and buckle with orange hands whereas the SDR is similar to U1 with only the bezel in black with red hands and is a regular production piece...hope this clarify yr doubts.

There is a Tempus 2, limitation is 399 pcs instead of 250pcs (tempus 1, picture as above). The second Tempus is U1 All Black.

If you notice the lugs of the watch(right side), you notice that it is also black (pvd-ed, tegimented), which tells you that its a U1Tempus...

If it was a U1SDR, the lugs should be normal steel and silver in colour.

The Tempus reminds me of a Timex Expedition E-Tide I had years ago (that died after only 6 months...)
