Hehe, trying to resist hitting 20 pieces...I had 38 pieces at my peak, don't want to go back there again!
Thanks for the compliments on the Seahawk 2, its indeed a piece!

Oh, I sold off my black dial Giuliano Mazzuoli to bro Charmlessone, you can try him to see if he wants to sell. If not, Visiotime has got one piece that they've held on for a long time, maybe you make them a good offer, they will let go at reasonable price, hehe!

    Haha, Bro Leslie & Feilong,
This thread is still alive! Thanks for the faith in me Bro Leslie but I broke my resolution already! : (
Got another Blancpain Fifty Fathoms this year, bought back a Rolex Submariner+Bell & Ross (after selling them off!) and just got a GP Seahawk 2 over the weekend!

Damn, I naively thought I could keep off watches : (

Now got 19 pieces, might as well whack one more 'last' one to make it 20!!!! Hahahaha!

So, you managed to get your Sinn U1? : )

Just realised this is about sgd390 with shipping. IIRC it used to be cheaper? anyway i wonder if it will hit $400 taking into consideration interbank transfer fees or whatever. Trying to avoid GST!
yes their prices have gone up. might have to do with swatch increasing prices and restricting distribution of ETA movements.

Laco used to offer free shipping too a couple of years back.

Use the following link to get a gauge of official exchange rate used by customs:
    http://appm4.internet.gov.sg/scripts...exc/exrate.asp

EUR/SGD near record lows. good to take advantage of it.

hey all, am looking to purchase my first laco.
was just wondering, have any of you bought a deployment clasp for your laco's before? and if you have, from where?
am specifically looking at the paderborn model with the 20mm straps.
stowa has them for their fliegers and at a really good price too, pity at 40mm. its a wee bit too small for a pilot watch i feel.

    cheers!

update : I sent it to some watch repairman, turn out that the movement is brand new (lucky!!!) but it is old stock and as such, the oil on the rotating wheel has dryed up and clogged...thus causing the fast movment of the watch. Took out, clean and re-oil and the watch is back in working order now... heng ah...

wondering if anybody has this problem. I bought a Laco Miyota Type A recently from Laco website. Was running fine for the 1st few days. Then 1 day, i took out and wind it before wearing and now watch is like moving super fast. Gaining 1 hour in a 6 hours period. Meaning if i start winding the watch at 12 noon, by 6pm, it show 7pm on the watch !!!! Did i spoil the watch by overwinding ? I dun think i want to spend the $$$ to send it back to Ger for repair. Anybody can give some idea what is wrong ? thanks in advance ?

    cheers
