    Bro Yoda,
Buy from German Timekeeper or buy from Laco shop, the price of the Miyota movements are very fair but do note that the casing for the ETA and Miyota 42mms are different. Naturally, the ETA movement's casing is more faithful to the original.
Bro..i pulled the trigger after asking a shop on the price of an azumith flieger..alamak, $4k plus for that watch..I've then realised that Laco is indeed very value for money since they are really one of the original manufacturer approved by hitler..haha

      Bro,
No offence against Azimuth but their Bombardier pieces a tad over-priced...at $4k!
Steinhart is comparable in quality and a fair bit cheaper.
But Laco takes the cake! It has the advantage of being amongst the original five; their prices extremely competitive. I just wish the Miyota movement casing was the same as the original, albeit scaled down version, but one can't have it all, I guess? My only tinge of regret was buying my Miyota Type A with logo before sterile dial version was released. Had to beg Laco to sell me a sterile Type A dial and pay a watchmaker to replace the dial for me. I thought I had a real special piece. Then mere weeks later, they release sterile dial Type A and B versions, haha!

Bro..Hehe..you got the same idea as me..LOL.. I walked out of the store thinking that how come I can only sell my mint F series 14060m back in 2006 for $3600 and an azimuth cost $4k plus? I would rather pay $4k plus to buy back my 14060m..Anyone bought a 14060m with my name on the certificate..Can you please contact me..LOL

I actually like my A dial miyota with the made in Germany logo because the dial is too plain.. Also can bluff my friends that my watch is quite expensive one.. LOL

Here some pics of my miyota version to poison you abit..hahaha

            Another pics stolen from flickr..

Diffference btw Miyota and ETA casing.. The Lugs and finishing..

ETA lugs are more towards the original used in WW2 and Miyota one has a modern flieger look..

            Top ETA and below Miyota..

Wow nice leh bro! I self poisoned liao...
You mean the print Made in Germany on dial is added in by ur request?
If ETA piece is with sapphire crystal any Miyota is mineral glass, can consider ETA right?

                      Hi Master Yoda,
If I'm not wrong, Laco's Miyota Type A & B has two versions now where buyers can choose if they want the 'Laco/1925' brand and 'Made-in-Germany' on the dial or want it sterile.
Of course can consider ETA. If you want it to be faithful to the original design without the 55mm bulk, go for the ETA 42 or 45mm versions. The ETA 42mm is just a few hundred more than the Miyota version. When you get poisoned by this hobby, a few hundred bucks is negligible. I got the Miyota cos at that time, the ETA versions were not sterile and also, I cheapo lah, haha!

Ah Bro, so sorry to hear about your seller's remorse. I kena when I sold off my Glycine F104 that was discontinued and was damn happy when Glycine released the model again but of course had to buy at a higher price. I share your sentiments with Azimuth, they're prices are too high considering their current market position. They should slowly brand build and price their way up like U-boat.
Anyway, not to side-track, I notice that your Type A Laco Miyota dial is different from the one I have, yours has 1925 which is the new version. I have the old Miyota Type A non-sterile dial and since you prefer with logo, you can have it if you want as your spare dial. Just PM me to arrange lah!

The new design comes with a Laco 1925 and Miyota 821A which is decorated.. Instead of the older Miyota 8215.. Hehe..I dun need so many dials lah..

BTW, I received the new watch a moment ago..But it seems like the lume on the hands are not evenly applied..
