              • Ok guys, need your expert advice.

Which is a better option for a LACO watch :

                (a) Type A 45mm manual
                (b) Type A 45mm auto (eta)
                (c) Type A 42mm manual
                (d) Type A 42mm auto (eta)
                (e) All (a) - (d) in Type B

Actually if you ask me, I think the type B 42mm is the most accurate scaled down of the WW2 laco b-uhr.

The dial fonts, hands are exactly same as the WUS Laco LE done by all those ang moh forumers. Which are done by them based on the original WW2 B-Uhr. IMO, I would prefer the manual winding..

On the contrary, if I were to get both the A & B, I will choose A dial in 42mm and B dial in 45mm. This is because the B dial looks clustered and justifies a bigger 'face', so it should look nicer. A personal preference.

But why manual winding over the other movements?

                      • heheh...A dial i like...so have to be 45mm...B dial Wife like..so have to be 42m...simple...hehehehe....

WW2 German pilots dun have the choice to choose...all Manual Winding....More historically correct in the sense...

                            • Hmmm...for me, I'd say its ideal if both Type A & B are same size, then they'd look like the twins as they were meant to be, and manual winding as the original.
If cost was not a concern, 45mm certainly.

Hehe, why Bro Ocean? Getting Laco poisoned too?
