Newbie - Need Adv

Good day to All,
First a Happy New Year to All in advance.

Need some advice from senior here, planning to get a new to replace mine recent fail Switz made watch 'Renue Thommen'.

Think of either Ball or Seiko.

Apparently I had back experience with Japanese made watch. Not really lasting, survive only 1 year. However on the other hand my Switz made watch stayed with me for 20 years.

Wondering if you guys can share with me your experience and knowledge so I can forward.

You cant do a comparison with Ball and Seiko. If you are comparing Seiko and Citizen maybe it is far comparison or Ball with Tag.

Price point of view there is differences unless u are looking more towards the higher end Seiko watches.

Nevertheless, Ball has its strength comparing with other watches. I felt it is value for money with so many feature build onto the watch yet you are paying averagely around 2k to 3k. Feature you can wiew it from Ball website.

you have to know what is your buget and go for the rite watch.

Message well noted, basically I understood what you meant.

Because I use to have a Swizt watch, what I can said is that they are very durable imagine it last me for a good 20 years. However I also own a G-Shock during my army days, guest how long it last me! Not even a year. That's why I am checking around with good bro's here if they used the two brand before, hopefully someone might share their experience with all.

Anyway no hard feelings, I have almost decided it's either Hydrocarbon Classic or Hydrocarbon GMT. Now the point is pricing.

By the way thanks bro for sharing your experience. It's wonderful to talk to someone who knows about watches, sure learnt alot from you guys.

Well in terms of durabilty I can say Hydrocarbon series are tough. If you are willing to spend your money go look for MadCow or even spacemaster model they are by most one of the toughest. But do note that not all shop will carry Madcow, Maybe you can try All Watches Lucky as I saw it few weeks back.
