Congratulations to your new found "test" for your Ball.

How did you get it frozen ... it is put inside a glass of water and freeze together or just left the watch in the freezer? How long does it take to have a ice-over ... did you leave it overnight?

I hope the timing of the Ball is not affected while being frozen and the crystal don't crack under pressure ...

Someone else did something like this too in the past ...

I took out the 4 fasteners and removed the bezel. Used a black zebra permanent marker and coloured over the numeric and the details. i am sick of the lume-turned-brown rubber indicators so i decide to colour. saw the effect in US forum and it convinced me to do it. whole process less than 10min.

it really compliments the rubber strap well!

I left it in my freezer and took a shower + change to go out...then when i was about to wear my watch, where is it? oh...where else can it be, besides the fridge

the frosting you see is the condensation of the moisture in the air that froze immediately upon contact with the metal.

the seconds hand is still moving when i took it out. the crystal wont crack unless you run it under hot water immediately taking out from the freezer which might cause a shock and crack it.

                          Good day Bro,
You have been a great help.

However I am looking for a simple design daily wear. The 'frozen ball' look unique and though that it will be a good idea to own one.

Hope that the owner can disclose the model of the ball.

                          Cheers

BALL engineer uses some sort of "grease" that do not freeze above -40*C or something. So unless you put it in a deep freezer (eg-80*C or LN2) it should not have effect on the watch movement.
