Advice on customized watch straps (Cartier Santos 100 & Omega Speedmaster Moon watch)

Hi everyone,

I would like to order customized straps for my Cartier Santos 100 (ladies) and Omega Speed Master.

The SA at the Cartier boutique told me that a replacement strap will cost more than 500sgd and will take some time to deliver while the Omega rep said they don't have leather/rubber straps for the Omega Speedmaster.

While it is easier to find a Strap that fits the Speedmaster online, a lot of watch strap sites online either don't customize for the Santos / sell the customized Santos Strap at a very expensive price (400USD?). The cheaper ones (160USD) don't look very credible (Ted Su straps customizes them for 155USD but there are 2 different sites with different email addresses?)

Does anyone here have any recommendations on sites or shops in Singapore I can go to for a good selection (colours) of reasonably priced alligator straps for both models?

Hi there, indeed you can find a local strap maker who can customize the strap to your needs. They are a husband Jason and wife Sherron team. Great people. Can even customized your used leather bags to become straps (interesting option).

Hopefully there are Santos owners here in Sg who've found someone who makes them at an affordable price!

hi sis, seems the santos 100 strap is more difficult to reproduce due to the unique fitting to the watch lugs.

the one listed here is for the men's side, 2mm wider i think. i managed to get Ted Su to customize one

i can't remember the name of the leather strapmaker offhand now but i know his shop is at ubi/kaki bukit... he's also featured in Straits Times some time back. Hour Glass will always ask you to go to him if you want to make/alter straps. Triton or any bros here remember the name?

Ted Su is great as he is always willing to carry out special requests. I've got a few special straps done by him also.

Strap color is a personal preference, depends on your dressing to match. black croc leather strap is too common, golden brown would be nice, red or blue would be standout, white is nice as well.
