Stainless Steel or Titanium Watch

Would like to get the feedback or advise from all bro n sis here. Is it worth paying for a titanium watch? Other than it is lighter, what are the points that it is better the s/s? Does rolex come out with any titanium watch and also is Chronomtre certified important in purchasing a new watch as there are brands like Ball, Tudor, they r not COSC certified.
