HydroCarbon Magnate GMT Out

Hey all, I walk pass Paragon yesterday and saw the new model Hydrocarbon Magnate GMT. Wow........ Real impressive.... Slimmer with Magnified date and lighter too. Dial is cool too.....Last but not less it is COSC certified.

It comes with 2 color so far black and Silver.... Silver looks nice....

I saw this at 2 WOS outlets. Very impressive indeed.

It costs $4,150.

The only drawback to me : no transparent glass caseback.

The AD mentioned that the caseback need to be steel to withstand 7500gs of shock and be anti-magnetic.

wo... high price for a Ball sia.. the last Magnate SRP was only $1.8k plus and i bought at $1.4k for the old Magnate, Sad tat i have sold it for another watch... will consider if it a $2k range, But still Ball have come out nice n special design, keep on impressing me..

Heard this is the first brand to come out with Black luminovor but the lume will not glow like normal luminovor. Overall i don't think it is over price, Here is what i feel :

Comparison with SPacemaster Glow
1) Slimmer by about 4mm ( If you don't like thick watches )
2) Lighter ( If you don't like heavy watch )
3) GMT
4) Magnified date
5) Same bracelet used

if all this you pay only $200 more I think it is resonable price.
Check out the actual dial too. It is impressive.

Yes agree with bro exxondus, it look like a mix breed of explorer 2 and GMT2, but the lume is really nice!

Maybe you have to see the actual watch to comment later.... Cos from picture it may be difficult to tell. I don't think so that it really look like any of the rolex model. Go have a look and you will realise it has a different look.

Great observations. I agree with the design is somewhat similar to Rolex's...but the combination does look great!
