congrats mate...your older cousin saying hi to you..it's a pity IWC took away the internal rotating bezel for the newer Aquatimers...nonetheless, it's one of the most comfortable diver's watch on rubber strap that i've owned.

This sure is a very good looking watch. Have already started lusting for it!
I was window shopping in suntec city and saw this displayed in one of the shops there...If I remember correctly the list price was SD 6500 displayed in the tag...Can any bro share whats the max discount possible nowadays (havent bought a luxury watch for a long time...last one was Omega GMT!) and any recommendations for a preferred Authorised Dealer....or is it better to buy this in duty free shops in Changi since no need to bargain there.
Thats a good looking watch indeed! I saw it in as part of a window display in a shop in suntec and the tag showed a price of SD 6500.
Any update on how much discount is possible to get nowadays?
I'm not sure on how much discount they are giving for IWC watches now....gotta go check it out again. Btw remember to show some wrist shots once you get it man!
Congrats on your latest acquisition. Wear it in good health and don't hesitate to take this watch to rugged conditions (let say jungle adventure, rafting, etc.). One of the best beater around.
Anyway, for those who are considering an Aquatimer but afraid that it may be too big, I would suggest trying the older Aquatimer with inner rotating bezel (ref. 3538). This watch is available in both SS and Titanium with bracelet/rubber strap. The SS version is slightly thinner than the Ti version with lower depth rating (1000m vs 2000m). Not that it makes a big difference but when you wear it, the SS version seems more slender than the Ti version. If you like something more radical with yellow accent, your choice should be the Ti version.
