H. Moser & Cie is one of my Grail brands.
As for the likes of Rolex and Panerai, my take is nothing lasts forever. As I understand it, Omega is fast catching up (at least in terms of sales). It may take a while - quite a while, in fact - before it catches up with Rolex, but who knows? Maybe it will be the most prestigious brand a generation later.
I may be biased, but I think the Panerai fad will eventually go away. (And I stand corrected on this.)
In the light of the above, H. Moser & Cie may survive and become stronger.
In any event, we live for the moment. A hundred years later nobody will care about whether we own a Rolex or a H. Moser & Cie.
