I agree totally, the durability and functions of these watch are categorised decently according to what u need [like diving, exploring etc] but for daily use, i will prefer the SpaceMaster from the Engineer Hydrocarbon series [retail at SGD 3800]. Great value for money n definitely an attention seeking timepiece.

Magnate GMT launched recently (retail price $4150) is another great choice for daily dress watch.

Ball is a definite. As for the Ball magnate i just sold it recently. It looks great but very similar to the GMT master2C so.. hmmm...
